Overview:
We partnered with CFC on the Bob Penkhus Volvo project, providing comprehensive site development services to support the construction of a new facility. Our scope included the installation of underground utilities and storm drainage systems, ensuring proper infrastructure and water management from the ground up. We also completed concrete sitework involving curb & gutter, valley pans, cross pans, and sidewalks as well as poured structural footings, and delivered a precisely graded building pad ready for vertical construction. With careful coordination, attention to detail, and a focus on quality workmanship, we helped set the stage for a successful build that meets both functional and long-term performance needs.
Challenges:
The project required close coordination and flexibility, particularly during the final stages of building pad preparation. As schedules shifted and other trades encountered delays, our team adapted quickly—reworking the order of execution to keep progress moving without compromising quality. By adjusting our sequencing and staying in constant communication with the general contractor and other subcontractors, we were able to complete the pad in a timely manner and to spec, despite the logistical challenges. Our ability to stay flexible while maintaining high standards played a key role in keeping the project on track.
Completion:
From underground utilities and storm drainage to concrete flatwork, footings, and the building pad, every phase of the project was executed with precision and care. Our team’s flexibility, proactive communication, and commitment to quality ensured a smooth finish and a site fully prepared for vertical construction. The result was a well-coordinated, professionally executed project that met the client’s expectations and supported their overall timeline.
