Overview:
We were proud to partner with Commonwealth on the Village at Solid Rock project, delivering comprehensive site preparation and foundational work to support this new development. Our team fine graded the site to precise specifications, ensuring optimal conditions for the installation of concrete flatwork and paving. We also handled the excavation and installation of building footers, retaining walls, and a fully prepared building pad. With careful attention to detail and close coordination throughout each phase, we helped lay the groundwork for a successful build and a long-lasting addition to the community.
Challenges:
One of the unique aspects of the Village at Solid Rock project was coordinating closely with the local church on-site to ensure our construction activities did not disrupt their regular assemblies and community gatherings. This required careful planning, flexible scheduling, and ongoing communication with church leadership to minimize noise, traffic, and access interruptions during key times. Our team remained respectful of the space and adapted our work accordingly—demonstrating our commitment not just to the project, but to being good neighbors within the community.
Completion:
The project was completed successfully, on time, and with great care. From fine grading and flatwork to footers, retaining walls, and a finished building pad, every element was delivered with precision and quality. Our team’s flexibility and respect for the active church community helped maintain a smooth construction process while fostering a positive relationship with those on-site. The end result is a well-prepared site that’s ready to support the next phase of development.
