Overview:
We had the privilege of working with Proterra Properties on the Winsome project, where we transformed raw land into a future residential development. Our team expertly constructed roadways to provide seamless access and developed detention ponds for effective stormwater control. We worked closely with engineers and local municipalities to ensure all infrastructure, including grading and stormwater management systems, met the highest standards of performance and compliance. With the Winsome project, we set the foundation for long-term success, delivering reliable, sustainable solutions tailored to Proterra Properties’ needs.
Challenges:
One of the key hurdles was leveraging advanced GPS technology for topographic mapping and grading, ensuring precise site preparation despite the variable terrain. Additionally, harsh winter weather conditions tested our scheduling and efficiency, but we adapted with strategic planning to keep progress on track. Coordinating materials amidst fluctuating supply timelines was another challenge, but our team worked closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure everything was delivered when needed.
Completion:
The Winsome project for Proterra Properties was successfully completed with all key objectives met and exceeded. We delivered fully accessible lots, providing convenient access for future development. The newly paved roadways offer smooth, durable surfaces designed to handle high traffic volumes, ensuring long-term functionality. Additionally, the stormwater management system, including high-functioning detention ponds, was meticulously designed and installed to manage runoff effectively, preventing flooding and promoting environmental sustainability. The project’s successful completion not only enhanced the land’s usability but also created a well-planned, reliable foundation for future growth.
