Overview:
Christian Brothers Automotive entrusted us with the full civil package for their newest service center, tasking our team with earthwork, storm‑water infrastructure, underground utilities, and all curb & gutter installation. From initial site cut/fill and compaction to final concrete edges, we shaped a pad‑ready site that ensures proper drainage, utility connectivity, and a crisp, drive‑friendly layout for customers the moment they roll in.
Challenges:
Tight site boundaries and an aggressive opening schedule meant that trenching for utilities, setting storm structures, and placing curb lines had to dovetail perfectly with the building contractor’s milestones. Frequent weather swings left soils saturated just as utility trenches were opened, threatening setbacks. We mitigated the risk by sequencing earthwork in smaller, controllable lifts, deploying additional dewatering pumps, and coordinating daily with the GC and trade partners so framing and paving crews never sat idle.
Completion:
By integrating earthwork, utilities, and concrete scope under one coordinated team, we delivered a smooth‑graded pad, watertight storm system, and precision‑poured curb & gutter — all ahead of the mechanical install window. The result is a clean, well‑drained site that greets customers with safe approaches, clear traffic flow, and durability engineered for constant vehicle turnover.
